Business System Interfaces
From Christian Computer Company (CCC) to ACTIVE Network to Daxko, we understand the challenges these systems can bring to the user experience online.
At whyMarlin, we know that many associations and groups struggle with increasing their online revenue. Some of the features available to YMCAs through Digital Counter (MSP 2.0) are online class and program registration, account and donation management, digital form submission and membership sales. Using interfaces and API's on multiple levels we find the right solution for your organization.
What We Do
whyMarlin's journey takes us back to the days of business platforms like Voyager to platforms of today such as Daxko, CCC and ACTIVE Network. Although the name Digital Counter is new on the scene, the custom API it represents is not.
We Do It All!
For over 15 years, whyMarlin has been involved in developing solutions for a variety of nonprofits and YMCA business systems. Our goal has always been to identify the uniqueness of each association, which allows us to refine existing systems or develop new solutions that truly represent each organization.
One of whyMarlin’s solutions, Digital Counter, strengthens and allows for more online capabilities, such as program registration, membership sales, user account management and other marketing functions, while creating a pleasant user experience. Additionally, Digital Counter has the ability to schedule programs for a variety users in one session as well as completing waivers online all in a convenient, user- and marketing-friendly view.
How We Do It
We utilize the best tools available for developing compelling HTML, primarily focusing on PHP, Javascript, AJAX, SQL and Java. Through API development, we have answered many of the plaguing issues inherent with most large business systems. We solved the integration issues, resulting in a full and rich user experience that compliments each specific association.
Integration is no longer a strict development function due to the advances in web browser technology. To maximize an integration project, it is tantamount that marketing functions drive the development process.
whyMarlin has seen too many integration projects that become maintenance heavy and lack a ROI goal to drive the final product. Your digital presence leaves a lasting user experience and it’s too important to trust up to a bunch of developers that don’t properly understand your organization and goals.
Why It’s Different
Although there are similar apps available, none deliver the user-friendly experience provided by Digital Counter. Users are able to login into their family account and complete online registrations for multiple members and multiple classes, which allows for a no hassle, time-saving process. Many competitors only show current activities, whereas Digital Counter provides a full view of the offerings available, both current and future. Additionally, Digital Counter is mobile friendly to cater to the growing number of mobile users.
The comprehensive nature of the API combined with ease of use delivers a superior experience to the user. Access to the classes, programs, pricing and events, remains visible at all times for an improved user experience with no backtracking. Digital Counter gives nonprofits and associations, like the YMCA, the ability to easily grow their user base and reap the benefits of the application -greater efficiency, lower administrative costs and increased sales.
